Harald Klemm is a painter and video artist who was born in Moenchengladbach, Germany in 1960.

 About the Artist:

Klemm combines the full range of digital media together with traditional painting skills. His approach is to use the computer as a modern drawing tool, a pen which prepares the canvas for the subsequent acrylic and oil paint layers.

Education and biography:


His education and training is varied: he has a degree in History and Philosophy from the Rheinisch-Westfaelische Technische Hochschule in Aachen and he completed an advanced internship in painting restoration. Klemm has shown widely in Germany and has participated in several travelling exhibitions. He was a resident at the Banff Centre in Canada where he received the De Grandmaison Scholarship.
