Als Kind norwegischer Eltern geboren 1944, nicht im damals von Nazi-Deutschland

besetzten Norwegen, sondern in Südschweden.

Nach Kriegsende Rückkehr nach Norwegen.

1951 Grundschulbesuch an der privaten Rudolf Steiner Schule in Oslo

Mit 11 sah er zum erstenmal Werke von Botticelli, allerdings nur als Reproduktionen,

mit 12 reiste er mit der Scandinavian Airline nach Kopenhagen und besuchte

dort die Glypthotek und das Staatliche Kunstmuseum -

Mit 15 war er am meisten von Goyas Werk beindruckt.

1962 Kurzer Aufenthalt an der Kunsthochschule Oslo

1965 dreimonatiger Aufenthalt an der Staatlichen Kunstakademie Düsseldorf bei Joseph Beuys.

Hier nennen ihn alle - Zorn - und es stellt sich ein weiteres Mal heraus, daß er für den

offiziellen Kunstbetrieb nicht geeignet ist.

1967 erste Ausstellung im Osloer Künstlerbund

1983 Aufenthalt in New York, wo ihn das Museum of Natural History am meisten beeindruckt

1986 erster Aufenthalt auf Island - hier hat er das Gefühl, in "seiner" Landschaft zu sein.;

er lebt nicht in seiner Zeit, sondern fühlt prähistorische Wurzeln



zahlreiche Einzelausstellungen in Amerika - David Bowie ist ein begeisterter Sammler seiner Werke

und Europa - 1994 ,1996 und 2003/2004 in der Raab Galerie Berlin



Odd Nerdrum ist Vater von fünf Kindern und lebt und arbeitet in Oslo und auf Island

Art Consulting

Seit zwanzig Jahren beraten unsere Mitarbeiter Sie bei Kunstankäufen für Ihre privaten und Geschäftsräume. Innerhalb Berlins liefern wir Ihnen Ihre Kunstwerke jederzeit frei Haus und helfen Ihnen auch beim Hängen.
Das Kunstabonnement ist seit Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in Berlin bekannt und wurde z.B. Paul Cassierer und Alfred Flechtheim ins Leben gerufen. Für junge Sammler entsteht so eine Möglichkeit, sich schon frühzeitig eine kleine, feine Sammlung aufzubauen und mit Hilfe von zumutbaren Raten Kunstwerke zu kaufen.

Kunst mieten

Unsere Geschäftskunden haben die Möglicheit, sich für Büroräume Kunst für einen zu vereinbarenden Zeitraum zu mieten. Die Mietsumme basiert auf den Verkauftspreisen der jeweiligen Kunst. Für die Versicherung der Kunstwerke ist der Mieter zuständig. Die höchste Mietzeit beträgt ein Jahr, wobei eine Verlängerung nach Absprache mit der Galerie möglich ist. Gern organisieren wir für Firmenfeste z.B. auch kleine Kunstauktionen nach amerikanischem Prinzip.
